We are an organization aiming to assist students who need extra help in their studies. We provide most subjects taught in San Francisco public schools.

This program was started in a Herbert Hoover social studies class by a group of students led by Generation Citizen. Passionate about helping their peers in their education, they decided to create this organization. Soon their idea blossomed into NOOK, which stands for No Overlooked Kids.

We are located in Main Library every Tuesday and Thursday from 4PM to 6PM. Our tutors are all volunteers from local schools and they are ready to help you as mentors and friends.

Our tutoring services are completely free of charge so there are no restraints stopping you from joining us.
